City Hunter Promo

June 24, 2011

AAAANNNNND we’re at the halfway mark! The show is at Episode 10 of 20 now – seriously guys, what are you waiting for? If you haven’t started watching the show, here’s my promo for the show again. It’s a good show ok?! (And I’m not JUST blinded by Lee Minho, ahem.)

In addition to obvious reasons such as excellent storyline and dialogue, pretty boys and girls, cinematography and fight scenes, here’s a list of reasons why you should watch it (in addition to becoming someone whom I can gush about the show to!):

Reasons why you should watch “City Hunter”…

Making a Home

June 23, 2011

They’re here! They’re here!

Things to make a home…

One reason why I stayed in Singapore longer than I had planned to was because of our annual Family Day.

Family Day? Yep, the maternal side of my family has been organizing an annual family day for the last 3 years, and it’s BIG. (Well, big in this current era of the nucleus family anyway).

I attended the first one, but missed the last two as I was overseas. It’s usually held at some chalet, and this year it was at the Changi Loyang Chalet. Yep, quite possibly the furthest end of Singapore from where my family lives.

Turns out, my sister made a boo-boo and had to head off to a wedding dinner, so I was left as the “sole representative” for the 3rd generation of my family. Along the way to the chalet for dinner, we had to pick up my grandpa and then my grandma.

Yep they live in different places – we’ll get to that…

Che Kung Temple, Shatin

June 10, 2011

So while I was finishing up at the Pixar Exhibition over at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, I decided, ah what the heck, what are the odds that I will be back in Shatin (did I just jinx myself?) so I might as well get my ass one MTR stop away to the Che Kung Temple.

Gotta love the tourist streak in me.

Head over to the Che Kung Temple…

Who Am I

June 10, 2011

Every RGS girl would have done the Myers Briggs Personality test, and it’s been one of the most accurate tests I’ve done so far. I remember how we were so amazed back then with the “results”, and constantly comparing each other’s “personality” and commenting on which parts were accurate and which parts weren’t (and there was significantly less of the latter).

A lot of “Yahyahyah! That is SO you!!”

My results then indicated ENFP.

I am now *drumroll*…

Just before I left for Singapore a few weeks back, I made the trek to Shatin to have a look at the Pixar Exhibition which was currently on display at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.

I LOVE Pixar films. On the rare occasion that I make it to the movies, chances are it is going to be a Pixar film (because it’s the only guarantee that it will be worth my $10-$20 ticket price).

More on Pixar…
